Despite the rain and cooler weather on the long weekend the Bumper Boats had quite a few riders. Some apparently didn’t want to get wet, but were quite willing to squirt everyone else.
As they say when you are a kid, you don’t seem to feel the cold. Some of the kids would come off the boats completely dripping. (Especially a couple boys that lost the boys against girls contest, Go Girls haha)
The weather didn’t stop the kids from enjoying the pool either.
This pool is a decent 80F so it was quite enjoyable to swim in.
This pool won’t be heated for a couple weeks, so it is only about 65F. This was the “I dare you” pool. But as you can see some of the made it in. A brave few even made it down the Ducky slide.

We are taking reservations for golf carts, so when you book your campsites be sure to add on a golf cart. $49 for a one day rental. If you stay for a week you can pay for 5 days and get the last 2 for free.

I finally had a nice sunny morning so I could take some updated pictures of the man made lakes. They have filled quite nicely as you can see. Although it is still nice right now I can’t wait for the grass to get green and the leaves to come out. Things have certainly changed since this time last year.
I also discovered on my walk this morning that we have two pairs of geese camping out. There were two out in the new area and then I came across these guys that seem to like ice skating.
It has been a common occurrence to walk around the campground and see the Geese in the pond, by the playground, by the mini golf or wherever. But this one through me for a loop this morning.
Maybe planters make good nests? I’m not sure. But she sure seems like a silly goose to me.
