This Weekend at the Duck

Welcome Back Weekend—April 30– May 2

Door Prizes—Enter at the Concession. Draw will be made Sunday at 11am. Prizes include: Rubber Ducky Hoodie,  water bottle & travel mug; 12” pizza and twisters.

Saturday

Ducky Hunt—Find the specially marked ducks and bring them to the Concession for a prize. (remember 1 duck per person, don’t go into campsites)

Planning for 2021

We have been busy planning our scheduled activities for this upcoming season. As always we have our all time favorites – Halloween, Poker Derbies, Valentines. And we have added a few new themes – Hawaiian and Superhero weekends. Check out our plans on our Google Activities Calendar. Make sure you check back often as we are updating and including more details as the season gets closer. If you are not familiar with google calendar when you click on the title of the event it will open up a box with more details. Saturday

11:00am – Craft time to go. Stop by the Concession to pick up a spring craft kit to make at your camper.  (while supplies last)

3:30pm – License plate scavenger hunt. We will post 6 letters/numbers. Go around the campground to find a license plate containing that letter/number. Text a picture to 204-514-3633. (each plate can only be used once, do not go into other people campsites)

9:30pm-Movie night at the Stage screen (max 50 people, social distancing in effect)

The New Normal Version of Weekend Activities

This weekend is the kickoff to our 2020 season of a new style of scheduled activities. We will be making some updates and changes to our original schedule to make things work with the current public health guidelines. At present we are continuing with the social distance of 6′ from other people and no gatherings larger than 10 people. We have set up an activities bulletin board in the window of the rec building. It can be easily be viewed from outside the building.

img_1099We will be discontinuing the paper handouts for the weekend activities schedule, lists for scavenger hunts etc. We will be posting them on this blog and in the activities window. The weekly schedule will be available to view on this site, our Facebook Page and Instagram. We will try to be as specific as possible with the activities details but if there are any questions you can always text us at 204-814-3959.

As we make some adjustments there may be a little bit of learning curve and some oopsies that didn’t work as planned. But we know everyone loves to participate in the scheduled activities and will do our best to continue doing as much as we can this season
