This Weekend at the Duck

For 2021 we have chosen to support a variety of charities –

Danica and Abby’s Village (Created in honour of Danica DeLaroque and Abby Margetts who were taken far too young in separate tragic accidents. The Village does good deeds in their honour for the well-being of Manitoban Children. One major initiative on the go is the rainbow 🌈 buddy benches. Wednesday

7:30pm—Movie Night in the Gazebo Area. Title posted in activities window. Popcorn available to purchase at the Concession

Friday

7:30pm—Bomber Game on the Big Screen in the Gazebo Area

50/50 Draw Winning number posted in Concession Building at approx. 9:00pm

7:30pm—Blackout Bingo by the basketball area.. $2 per ticket. Prize is split between charities and lucky winner.  Bring your chairs, blankets etc

Saturday

50/50 Draw—winning number announced at Band and posted in Concession building

11am-3pm—Mini Vendor Days—Expedia Cruises Amanda Mulvena and Jackie Sul  from Expedia Cruises will be here and would love to help answer any questions you may have about any Air, Land or Sea Vacation. Please stop by to make sure you stop by to get your name entered in for a giveaway.

Noon to 6pm—Silent Auction in the Gazebo Area.  Tickets must be in before 6pm. Winning numbers will be posted in the Gazebo area shortly after. Prizes should be picked up before 8pm

1:00pm—Time Capsule. 2012 capsule will be dug up from it’s location on the big hill. It will be brought the the Concession building where it will be on display and also for new items to be added. Drop off any mementos or items to be added to the 2021 capsule before 8pm Saturday (reburial will be Sunday 11am)

2:00pm—  Blackout Bingo by the basketball area.. $2 per ticket. Prize is split between charities and lucky winner.  Bring your chairs, blankets etc

6:00pm—? Wood Fired Pizza for sale at the Pizza Oven (cash only)

Time tba—Axe Throwing with Haulin Axe

7:00pm—Classic Embers (Band) on the Stage

Sunday

11:00am—Time capsule 2021 burial

Tuesday

7:30pm Fun Bingo free to play. In the gazebo area.
