Boxing day was the perfect day to test out the ice fishing on the pond. The temperature was quite warm and suprisingly there was no wind. Pretty much the perfect winter day in Manitoba.

Dennis has built an ice fishing shack for the colder days. It is available to rent for anyone that wants to try out a little ice drinking oops I mean fishing. There is lots of ice and we are hoping for a good turnout for the derby on Jan 10.

From all reports everyone that was here had a great time and we are looking forward to more fishing on New Year’s Eve and the January derby.
